  5. The story of death
  6. is played out in time
  7. Never with a particular beat
  8. or a particular rhyme.
  9.  
  10. Every man shall live,
  11. and every man shall die.
  12. But itÆs those who die in front of you,
  13. those you see with your eye.
  14.  
  15. ItÆs the day of death 
  16. that stabs through my heart,
  17. Her motionless body
  18. was just ripping me apart.
  19.  
  20. The glassy stare
  21. from the fragile face
  22. struck my heart
  23. and made it race.
  24.  
  25. Laura is gone
  26. and I canÆt turn back time,
  27. the parties over,
  28. now who commited the crime?
  29.  
  30. But the clock must still tick,
  31. and time must go one,
  32. It doesnÆt matter what happened yesterday,
  33. because yesterday is now gone.
  34.  
  35. The past was meant to be history
  36. and each day is another page,
  37. Her death was always written
  38. to take place on center stage.
  39.  
  40. As the final tear drips down my cheek
  41. and the thought of her coming back remains bleak,
  42. I learn to deal and do my best
  43. with what is known as The Story of Death.
